New York City abandons proposal to ban photography in subways and buses.
The 50th anniversary exhibit of World Press Photo will open on May 4th at the United Nations headquarters in New York City.
Arko Datta won this year's Photo of the Year award. He photographed a woman in Cuddalore, India mourning a loved one who was killed in the tsunami disaster.
