Capture One 6 Release
Christmas has come early for many of us who use Capture One. Phase One released version 6 and it is a doozie of an upgrade from version 5. Phase One Has Released Capture One 4
The Capture LE version has been released and rebranded as Capture One 4. This lite version has only basic features. It does not support tethered capture, nor does it utilize sessions, or color editor. Anyone who has any valid Capture One license can unlock Capture One 4.
Capture One PRO 4 and Capture One DB 4 will be released at a later date.
Phase One have 3 different versions of their software. The following list might help in understanding the different versions of Capture One:
1. Capture One PRO: The professional version with all the features. Works with Phase One backs and a wide range of DSLRs.
2. Capture One DB: Has the same features as the Pro version. However, it works only with Phase One camera backs. This software is free of charge, can be installed on as many computers as you like, and has a life time of free upgrades.
3. Capture One LE: The Lite version of Capture One rebranded as Capture One 4.
